The N27 is the second series of the World's Beauties from Allen & Ginter and contains (50) cards picturing actresses of the day on a chromolithographed card. Real Photo albumen cards were the more plentiful types of actress cards issued during the 1880's. Allen and Ginter issued both the N26 and N27 series and included luminaries such as Lillian Russell, Adelina Patti, Lillie Langtry and others between the two series.
This lot of (9) cards are from the N27 second series and have all been graded by PSA as EX+ 5.5 and include the following subjects: Emma Abbott, Cameron, Visc'tess Castlereach, Miss A.B. Conway, Decleres, Lillian Elmore, Frankie Kemble, Alice Lingard and Ugalde. Great lot of higher grade cards that would fit perfectly in a very clean N27 set.
