The S72-1 Actress silks were originally issued with back papers from Turkey Red, Zira and Old Mill. They're rarely found with the back papers intact over 100 years later, but occasionally they do surface.
This lot is for a tough pair of S72-1 Turkey Red Actress silks with the Turkey Red backs intact. The two subjects are Helen Holmes and Marietta Olly. The silks are in VG to VGEX condition with clean backs and only the normal light fraying of the the silk.
