The E123 American Caramel Actors & Actresses set can be found with series of 80 or 120 backs and actually total 140 cards. The cards were often glued into a redemption album and are occasionally found blank backed as well. The cards numbered 121-140 are found only with series of 120 backs and are prohibitively more difficult to locate than are the other 120 subjects with either 80 or 120 backs. Their method of distribution is really unknown and they are rarely found.
This lot includes a group of (8) PSA5 and PSA6 graded E123 cards all of which come with the Series of 120 backs. They include the following subjects: PSA5 EX (2 cards: #73 Richard Dix and #103 Pat O'Malley) and PSA6 EXMT (6 cards: #64 Miss Du Pont, #75 Hope Hampton, #104 Jack Perrin, #112 Anna Q Nillson, #113 Ina Claire and #120 Mary Philbin). Only 142 of the E123 series have been graded by PSA with only 5 cards grading PSA7 and all (8) of the cards in this lot at PSA5 or PSA6 are the highest graded copy for their subject with none higher.
