The N344 is a small twelve card set picturing oarsmen and pedestrian athletes from the early part of the 1880's. As with the N342 Halls Between the Acts cards, the N344 cards are early entrants into the tobacco card insert series.
This lot is for a single N344 that has been graded by SGC as VGEX-50. The card is mislabeled as an N342 instead of the correct assessment of N344. This set is one of, if not the earliest set picturing athletes.
