The V339-7 Parkhurst Gum Missles & Satellites set of (50) cards was issued in 1958. At a time when the space race was heating up and the Cold War was still pretty chilly, Parkhurst of Canada issued the Missles & Satellites set. The set pictures great paintings of missles, rockets, spacemen, frogmen recovering capsules and people living under the water and in the air. A very unique set. The card fronts are white bordered with great paintings and the backs have narratives in both English and French.
This set of (50) cards are in VGEX to NM condition, averaging about EX condition. The backs are clean and clear. All card fronts have been scanned with a sample of card backs representative of the condition of the set.
