Kinney Tobacco issued three different horse sets in a small format in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The N229 set were American horses, the N230 were English horses and the N231 set represented Great Trotting horses. The N230 cards as contained in this lot pictured English horses known for winning the bigger races in Europe--especially the English Derby.
This lot of (8) N230 Kinney Tobacco English Horses are largely in VGEX condition with a a single card having a light corner crease. The majority have mostly clean fronts and backs with primarily honest corner wear.
