The R778-1 Maple Leaf Movie Star Playing Cards is a standard (52) card set of playing cards with a joker. Each card pictures movie stars of the mid-to-late 1950's when the set was issued. The set was issued by Maple Leaf Gum. Many stars and starlets adorn the cards including a very young Natalie Wood, Rita Hayworth, Rex Harrison, Red Skelton, Errol Flynn, Vivian Leigh, Sophia Loren, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Tyrone Power, Orson Welles, Doris Day, Cary Grant and more. The set is very popular with movie star collectors. The backs of the cards have a blue hatched playing card look.
This lot of (53) cards includes all regular cards and the joker. The set is in VG to EX condition, averaging about VGEX. Very clean set.
