The R132 series of 48 Airplane Strip cards were published sometime in the mid-to-late 1930’s and were likely a point of sale premium for some type of candy or gum product. As with many of the strip card sets of the same time, they were printed in strips of eight cards and were made to be cut or torn apart. Six strips made the set complete.
This near set of (45/48) cards from the R132 Series of 48 Airplanes set are in Poor to EX condition with most being in VG/VGEX. There are a handful of cards that have dark staining in one of the corners. The (3) missing numbers to be complete are: #307, 313 and 340.
