The R73 Goudey Indian set was issued beginning 1933 by Goudey in what wound up being what we believe was (18) series of (24) cards. As we have seen from many of the 1933 Goudey releases for Baseball and other sets, Goudey generally printed the cards on sheets of (24) cards. Interestingly, of the two or three previous examples of sheets of Goudey Indians, the format has been six cards wide by four cards tall. This partial sheet of (12) cards appears to have three cards wide by four cards tall but also appears to have been taller than that with some card remnants in the top margin.
Goudey Indian uncut sheets are prohibitively difficult in any form and condition and in the same time period that we found 2-3 of them that have sold, there were dozens of sales of Goudey Baseball sheets being sold.
This partial sheet of (12) cards contains the following numbers: 95, 102, 103, 107, 108, 109, 166, 169, 173, 203, 205, and 210. All have complete, printed backs and are from the series of 264. The sheet has obvious condition flaws on the corners and borders but the cards display very nicely for the most part. This is an excellent sheet that would be perfect for framing into a beautiful wall hanging for an advanced collection.
