These beautiful oversized Marburg Greenback Tobacco Advertising cabinets measure 7-1/2" x 12-1/2". They have deep black borders and typically picture a titled scene or an actress. They also have pictures of the Marburg Greenback and/or Seal of North Carolina packages on them. The backs have a good deal of advertising for the brand in black print. Marburg produced a number of "N" card sets picturing actresses and other subjects.
This cabinet is entitled "Great Scott! What a rattling good time I must have had last night" and pictures a man on the side of the bed looking in a hand mirror with his hat and shoe up in the air on the light fixture. Condition is VG with a few creases and a tear or two but it displays excellently and has phenomenal lithography by A. Hoen & Company of Baltimore.
