Auction #15 - October 2023

The L1-L9 leathers are the largest leather premiums that were issued in the 1910's as premiums from tobacco purchases through saving coupons. They are die cut to look like animal hides and then have an image stamped onto the leather. The L9 "Kink Series" leathers number 20 in the series similar to the large format cards and silks with the same images. The "Kink Series" cards, leathers and silks are some of the tougher in the large format premiums. They picture caricatures of a fictionalized "Kink" or Turkish ruler.
This large format leather from the L9 ATC "Kink Series" pictures #290 in the series in VGEX to EX condition. The only or main issue with the leather is a price sticker stuck to the back in the upper right corner. The sticker could possibly be removed but we will let the winner do that.
