Beautiful W424 Mutoscope Glamour Girls complete high grade set of (32) Cards. Artwork on these series is generally by Earl Moran unless otherwise noted. There are a number of variations in some of these sets and this set is strictly a complete (32) card titled set. Unlike their monotone cousin Exhibit cards, the Mutoscope cards of the early 1940's were phenomenally colored with popping colors and, in many cases, risque artwork and titles for the time period. They were a nice diversion for a country in the middle of WWII. The artwork was used on many other types of advertising including smaller cards, blotters, calendars, playing cards and much more.
These sets were pulled from vending boxes and put together and put away. They are in very high grade condition. All 32 cards would be considered to be in EXMT to NRMT/MT condition with a couple better and a couple worse. They would be good candidates for grading if a collector were working on a graded set.
