Buchner Gold Coin tobacco issued a number of sets involving policemen and the N288 series pictures police inspectors in a slightly larger format than the more prolific N284 series. The series numbers 95 subjects with some of them duplicated from the smaller format N284 series.
This single N288 Buchner Police Inspectors and Captains card is of Capt. John Gunner. The card has 5 pinholes--one in each eye, the mouth at the top center of the card and right at the neckline. The card is otherwise in about VGEX condition and would make a good filler until a better copy comes along.
