The Weissinger Tobacco company of Louisville, Kentucky issued a set of cards in the late 19th century of victorian women with instruments. The artwork is borrowed from the Buchner N286 series printed on much thinner stock than the Buchners. The Weissinger cards can be found with the Our Flag Flake Cut and Burr Oak Brands. Twenty-three cards are known with likely more to be checklisted.

This lot of (10) cards from the N556 Harry Weissinger Musical Instruments set are in Fair to VGEX condition, averaging VG/VGEX. The lot includes the following titles: Arcadian Flageoletist, Bugler of Musketeers, Diana, French Cornetist, Indian Cymbals, Oriental Tambourist, Pandean Pipes, Scotch Bagpipes, Servian Accordionist and Triangle. Great, large lot of these seldom seen cards.
