The 1961 Topps Crazy Cards set picture silly sayings on the front with a further explanation on the back of the card. The 66 cards appear to picture artwork of Jack Davis and are sized normal at 2-1/2" wide by 3-1/2" tall.
This is a magnificent, ultra-high-grade specimen of this entertaining series, which features the zany art of former Mad Magazine artist Wally Wood. The fronts of the cards make an outrageous statement, which is “debunked” in humorous fashion on the backs. Centering outstanding overall, and most of the cards appear pack fresh. Assembled over a period of years, with quality which would be difficult to improve. Impressively mounted in Cardsaver 1 plastic holders displayed in plastic pages inside a sturdy looseleaf binder. Absolutely gorgeous, certainly one of the best in the hobby!!
