The N489 Blue Bordered Actresses set is a set of stock photos that were used to advertise a number of different tobacco companies as well as other products. Tobacco companies using the stock to advertise include brands such as Mexican Puffs, Old Havana Puffs, Real Havana Flips, Sweet Bouquet and others from companies like Cameron & Sizer, American Cigar Company and, most commonly, American Eagle Tobacco Company. The fronts of the cards identify the subject on the card. They can also be commonly found blank backed without advertising for any specific company. The cards measure 1-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" high.
This trio of N489 cards are in clean Good to VG condition and includes the following subjects: Ida Bell, Agnes Germer and Ida Mulle. All (3) advertise for "Double 5" on the back in two different formats.
