The N377 Ellis Tobacco Recruit Cigarettes Civil War Generals pictures generals from both the Confederacy and the Union sides in colorful lithography for the late 1880's. The 25 card set are tougher than many of the mainstream issues but set completion is possible with patience and dollars. The set contains Lee and Grant as well as many of the other more well-known generals of the Civil War.
This single card from the N377 H. Ellis Generals of the Civil War features General G.G. Meade in VG condition with rounded corners and a small line of paper loss on the back being the only condition issues.
