The E26 John Dockman Menagerie Gum set is a (24) card set of colorful animal cards issued in the 1910's timeframe by John. H. Dockman and Son of Baltimore. Dockman was a confectionery company and issued a number of card sets as well as boxed candy goods. The checklist on the back of the set includes (27) titles but the final three entries on the list (antelope, boar, and prairie dog) have not been seen. Cards measure the standard 1-1/2" Wide by 2-3/4" High.
This lot of (7) cards from the E26 Dockman Menagerie Gum set are in VG to EX+ condition and display very nicely with clean, deeply-printed backs. Great lot for the higher grade set builder and in better condition than is normally seen for this set.
