Auction #2 - June 2019

Incredible piece of history for the Goudey Gum Company from January of 1934. This invoice was for (24) boxes of Sport Kings and (24) boxes of Indian Gum. Each box held 100 packages, so the total of the invoice was for 4,800 packages of Goudey Gum products. Each box in 1934 cost Wm. Brockmeyer of St. Louis, Missouri, 55 cents for a total of $26.40 for the entire invoice. Those 4800 packages of cards today would be worth literally hundreds of thousands of dollars. The letterhead also advertises for Oh Boy-Indian, Some Boy and Big League products at the bottom of the invoice. This piece of history has some creasing and normal wear for an 80+ year old thin paper relic.
Overall, I'd consider this in a VG to VGEX condition. Rare to find invoices that have actual products listed on them in terms that we all understand.
