The N27 is the second series of the World's Beauties from Allen & Ginter and contains (50) cards picturing actresses of the day on a chromolithographed card. Real Photo albumen cards were the more plentiful types of actress cards issued during the 1880's. Allen and Ginter issued both the N26 and N27 series and included luminaries such as Lillian Russell, Adelina Patti, Lillie Langtry and others between the two series.
This complete set of (50) cards from the N27 Allen & Ginter World's Beauties set are largely in VG to VGEX condition with (6) cards having some type of back damage or writing or otherwise more obvious condition issue. With upgrades to these cards, this would be a very clean mid-grade set.
