Just a phenomenal piece from the Goudey Indian Gum set and Goudey company of Boston, Massachusetts. Indian Gum cards are one of the most popular series from all the 1930's and one of Goudey's all-time greats. This box is from the 1933 Goudey Indian Gum release and pictures fantastic Indian graphics on the cover. The box contained 100 packages of Indian Gum each one containing a single card and piece of gum.
The box has instructions on where to bend for display and has obviously been bent. The surface of the box has wear and is slightly dirty. Right about where the Indian's ear would be is a patch of missing paper about the size of a dime. The box overall is in about Good condition with wear but it displays excellently. These boxes are extremely rare and to find one in any condition is a major feat. This would be a great addition to even the best nonsport collection.
