The 1956 Topps Elvis Presley is a set of (66) cards issued by Topps in their golden era of card production. The cards picture Elvis from his early days and some of his earlier movie roles. The card titles are on the front of the color card in a red guitar. The backs feature a narrative of Elvis answering fan mail. The back printing is in typewriter type print and the card number is on the back.
The 1957 Topps "Hit Stars" set is an 88 card set picturing the hit stars of movie, television and recording stars. Famous stars like Elvis Presley, Steve Lawrence, Debby Reynolds, Jerry Lewis, Nat King Cole, Little Richard and man many more make this set popular with music fans.
This lot of (41) cards includes (28) cards from the 1956 Topps Elvis set and (13) from the 1957 Topps "Hit Stars" set. The cards are in generally VGEX to EXMT condition, averaging around EX. Some stars in the lot include James Dean, Tony Curtis, Kirk Douglas and Tony Bennett. Great lot for the set builder.
