The T400-8 American Tobacco Company (ATC) actresses set is one of a number of sets of actresses that ATC issued to be used to sell cigarettes in overseas markets to compete with the Imperial Tobacco Company of the United Kingdom. Many of the ATC issues were sold in the United Kingdom and other destinations. The T400-8 set pictures actresses in a mauve ink on the front with the blue net ATC back. The cards are numbered--generally in the lower left corner--from 1 to 25. The backs are typically very lightly printed in this series.
