The T51 Murad Cigarettes College Series is a set of (150) cards issued in (25) card series picturing colleges throughout the U.S. The cards can feature sports figures playing baseball, basketball, golf, football, hockey, rowing, running, fishing, hunting and many more. In addition, some of the cards do not picture a specific sport but rather just a pennant and name of the college. The first and second series of (25) can be found with a first and second series. The second series is noted as such on both the front and back and the first series does not have such a notation. The set is very popular with set collectors and with type collectors or with alumni of certain colleges within the set.
This fantastic lot of (230) cards from the T51 Murad Cigarettes College Series are largely in Good to EX condition with most cards around VG/VGEX with some lesser. The more popular sports break down as follows: Basketball (1 card), Baseball (6 cards), Football (6 cards) and Golf (8 cards). There is some duplication in the lot as well. Great lot of these popular cards.
