The 1952 Bowman NBC T.V. and Radio set is the first year precursor to the 1953 Bowman NBC T.V. and Radio set. The 1952 set was a (36) card set most easily distinguished from the 1953 set by a horizontal back. The expansion of the 1953 set numbered (96) cards. Both sets have pictures of the subject only on the front of the card with a short biography on the back. The backs of the 1953 set are typeset vertically. Both sets are popular with 1950's and Bowman collectors.
