The T222 Ligget & Myers Fatima Cigarettes set is really three sets in one. The series includes (52) known baseball players, (8) known actors listed at non-sport.com (the Crane Card listed here is not listed at non-sport.com) and actresses and a group of (4) track and field athletes. The backs of the cards advertise 100 cards, so the 65 cards known represent only about 2/3 of the advertised cards. The Baseball cards seem to be much more plentiful than do the other two subseries, so it is likely that any future checklist additions would be to the actors or track and field participants. The baseball checklist has been set for a very long time.
This lot is for a very elusive T222 Fatima Cigarettes card of Track & Field star Muller that has been graded SGC20 or Fair. This is one of only (4) such T222 Track & Field stars and the very first of two for this auction that we've had the pleasure to auction. Great type card from a very elusive set.
