The N462 Cameron & Sizer New Discovery set is a (25) card set picturing scenes and characters of the newly discovered America including Columbus, Americus Vespucius, Miles Standish, Pocahantas and many more. The cards are colorful with gold borders and white print set against red shadows. The cards are "normal" sized tobacco cards measuring 1-1/2" wide by 2-3/4" high. The card backs have a checklist of the (25) cards along with advertising for Cameron & Sizer. The cards can also be found with a red overstamp on the backs for the Cameron & Cameron tobacco company.
This lot includes a group of (4) N462 Cameron & Sizer New Discovery cards that have all been PSA graded and include the following subjects: Ferdinand/Isabella (PSA1 Poor), Return of Columbus (PSA2 Good), S. Maria Pinta & Nina (PSA2 Good) and Introduction/Tobacco (PSA1.5 Fair). The cards are mostly clean with clean backs but have some corner rounding and the occasional crease.
