The N49 Allen & Ginter Cyclists card set pictures women on high wheel bicycles of the day from the late 1880's to early 1890's. The cards are albumen photo cards attached to a thick cardboard stock which was very common for the day. The cards are typically numbered somewhere in the field of the photo and numbers as high as 66 have been seen. The vintagenonsports.com gallery pictures some 40 cards and Non-sport.com pictures a dozen cards from the set. The cards are the standard size running 1-7/16" by 2-5/8".
This trio of N49 Allen & Ginter Girl Cyclists includes the subjects #28, #31 and #53. The cards are overall in VG to VGEX condition with just small condition blemishes.
