The R830-1 Aviation set is a (40) card set likely issued in the 1930's/1940's by an unknown issuer. It is entirely possible that it was Novel Candy or another similar manufacturer of boxed candy cards. The cards picture famous aviators and famous aircraft in a very popular subject of the time period. Subjects include the Wright brothers, Eddie Rickenbacker, Jimmy Doolittle and Howard Hughes.
This lot of (4) R830-1 Airplane Series cards are in VG to EX condition, averaging around VGEX with clean backs.
