The N27 is the second series of the World's Beauties from Allen & Ginter and contains (50) cards picturing actresses of the day on a chromolithographed card. Real Photo albumen cards were the more plentiful types of actress cards issued during the 1880's. Allen and Ginter issued both the N26 and N27 series and included luminaries such as Lillian Russell, Adelina Patti, Lillie Langtry and others between the two series.
This lot of (6) cards are from the N27 second series and have all been graded by PSA as EX5 with the exception of Pauline Markham, who was graded PSA4 VGEX. The other five subjects include: Marie Chester, Dorothy Dean, Grace Langdon, Irene Perry and Emily Rigl. Great lot of midgrade cards that would fit perfectly in a very clean N27 set.
