In 1928, The Stevens-Davis Co. issued a popular “Men of America” (H572) series of booklets of famous Americans. Somewhat reminiscent of the History of Poor Boys N79 offering from Duke, these larger format booklets (2-1/2" x 4-1/16") booklets featured a number of famous Americans from business to baseball to golf to other vocations.
This lot of H572 Stevens-Davis Men of America appears to have all the titles in it with a few extra. It also includes the box that held the booklets from the set. The cards and the box are all in VGEX to EX condition and very clean.
