In 1928, The Stevens-Davis Co. issued a popular “Men of America” (H572) series of booklets of famous Americans. Somewhat reminiscent of the History of Poor Boys N79 offering from Duke, these larger format booklets (2-1/2" x 4-1/16") booklets featured a number of famous Americans from business to baseball to golf to other vocations.

This lot of (41) H572 Stevens-Davis Men of America booklets are in VG to VGEX condition and mostly clean. The lot also includes the faux book to hold the booklets. The lot includes some of the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin backs on the following subjects booklet: Steinmetz, Gifford, Bradford, Roosevelt and Giannini.
