The 1930's, 40's and 50's were an era of redemptions. Kids of every age redeemed wrappers and other coupons to pick up premiums from tv shows, comic books, trading cards and other promotions. There were offers on Ovaltine, in cereal boxes and all over the place for characters such as the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Tom Mix and many other characters.
This lot contains a single redemption ring from the 1941 Goudey Sky Birds set and includes a two toned ring with a silver type base and gold addition of a pair of wings and a propeller. This ring is in EXMT with just a slight blemish on the top of the left side of the pair of wings.
