The Dixie Lid company issued small round lids that were the lids to ice cream cups back in the 1930's to 1950's. The lids are a very collectible item and from the sets of lids, they also issued premiums for purchasing their goods. The premium sets from most years mirror the small round lids sets in the subjects but with much more beautiful artwork. The premium sets are 8" by 10" in size. The fronts of the premiums identify the subject with the backs typically having a nice medium sized narrative about the pictured subject.
The set in this lot is a near set of 1943 Premiums numbering (22/24) individual stars. Condition on these premiums is very nice in about EX condition.
