E230 Lowney College Girl and Indians Postcard Lot of (3) Different Cards

The E230 Lowney Postcard set was originally cataloged as E230 in the American Card Catalog by Jefferson Burdick as "College Girl" series. No mention was made to any inclusion of American Indians in the series. In actuality, the series includes (3) College Girls and (3) Indian Chiefs. The set features advertising in a corner of the card for Lowney's chocolates and a number in the lower left corner. Chocolate boxes that are similarly sized have been found for Lowney's chocolates and it is assumed these cards may have been inserted into those chocolate boxes.

This lot of (3) postcards features (1) College girl and (2) Indian Chiefs all of which fall into the EX condition range. This lot offers an opportunity to get half the set in one purchase.
