The E161 Ghirardelli card set is one of a number of card sets that Ghirardelli issued. Little is known about when their card sets were issued other than the 1914/1915 Pan Pacific postcard set. The E161 set is a (35) card set featuring North American Wildlife. The card stock is somewhat porous, so it makes the cards be somewhat condition sensitive.
This near set (29/35) cards is missing only the following subjects: Badger, Barn Owl Long Eared Owl, Bison, Mountain Sheep, Red Tailed Hawk and Woodcock. The cards all fall in a uniform VG to EX range with most in the VGEX range. The bulk of any condition issues fall under the heading of toning.
