The D75 Betsy Ross Bread "The Story of Money" is a crossover interest set for those who collect trading cards and those who collect coins. The cards are trifold folders and picture the coin from a named country inside the country crest with a scene from that company and advertising for the company on the outside the booklet. Non-sport.com has noted (18) different advertising companies on the folders which offer a unique opportunity for the type card collector. The set offers multiple folders for some countries--outlining all the different coins that that country might have in circulation. For example, for Great Britain, there are 8 different folders including folders for the following coins: 3 Pence, one penny, one florin, one shilling, half penny, farthing, half crown and six pence. One of the better, more innovative sets of what is likely the 1930's.
This lot is for a group of (8) D75 Betsy Ross Bread "Story of Money" cards to include the following subjects: France: 10 francs, Germany: Five Pfennig, Italy: 2 centesimi, Great Britain: Farthing, Austria: Twenty Kronen, Italy: Five Centesimi, Sweden: Twenty Kronor and Sweden: Two Kronor. Great lot for the set builder of these innovative folders.
