The Horrors of War set is one of the most iconic nonsports sets of all time. The set was issued in the U.S. by the Gum Inc company of Philadelphia, PA. The same artwork was used on a set that was scaled back size-wise in Canada by O-Pee-Chee in 1938. The first 48 cards are considered the low number cards and the final 24 cards are high series and much tougher than the low numbers.
This lot of (15) low number cards are all in Fair to VG condition, averaging about Good condition. The lot includes the following numbers: 3, 6, 8, 11, 13, 14, 16, 22, 26, 30, 32, 35, 42, 43 and 45.
