The artwork of many of the United States tobacco and gum sets was borrowed for counterparts in other countries--either issued by the U.S. Counterpart or another company entirely. Artwork for the N2 Allen & Ginter Indians may be the most often copied artwork--being used for issues in numerous countries as late as 30 years after the fact. The 1930's artwork of many of the U.S. Gum issues also seemed to be a favorite to copy. Whether Dick Tracy or G-Men or Horrors of War, sets in other countries like Canada, France, Germany, Belgium and others pop up from time to time and are a way for collectors to extend their collection--especially for sets they love.

This complete set of (72) cards in the 1930's Belga (Belgium) Pirate Album, although glued in, appear to be in EX to EXMT condition. The album in which they are mounted is in about VGEX to EX condition.
