In addition to tobacco cards being popular in so many countries, certain countries had burgeoning candy card markets. France is one of those countries and Chocolate Guerin-Boutron was a big issuer of cards in their products into the early 20th century.
This lot is for a pair of 1919 Chocolate Guerin-Boutron cards that have both been graded by PSA as VG3 including the following subject: #82 Leo Tolstoi and#85 Jules Verne. Both cards look to be in better condition than their stated grades.
